I brought my 34' travel trailer in today to have tires mounted. I tried about six other places in Mechanicsville before I called Hills, and all of them did not want to do the work. From the minute I stepped in the lobby I was treated like family , what a great bunch of folks! From the fella that checked me in to the young lady that cashed me out, all excellent! The tech that installed the tires (Benny) started the job at 9Am, exactly the time my appointment was set for and finished at 10-10:15. Benny was very courteous and also helped me find a burnt out fuse on my truck after he installed the tires. In this day and age it is hard to find people who will go out of their way for others and they do exactly that at Hills Auto! They have gained a customer for life with me as I have never in my life had such wonderful service from an automotive repair shop! Keep up the great work!

We took our truck to Hill's Auto Repair for a waterpump replacement. We asked that they check the brakes etc to make sure everything else was OK. They called to say they needed to change the belts (which we expected) and water pump. They let us know everything else was fine. The price came in under what I expected and I was happy that unlike other shops I have used, they didn't try to push other repairs (that weren't needed). Ty Hill's. Unless you hang out around the 7th District you may not be aware of this repair shop. I was referred by a family friend who is a ASE mechanic. I have had a chronic problem with my 2006 pickup truck for the last 2 years that no other shop has been able to successfully diagnosis or repair, including the dealer. I emailed Hills Auto Repair asking for an estimate on what I thought might solve the problem. David emailed me back asking to see and inspect the vehicle first rather than simply provide an estimate. I made an appointment and I dropped the truck off. The next day David called me to say that his technician was able to isolate the problem, and was even able to experience the issue I described during his extended test drive. David said his technician was most certain as to what was wrong and that he could repair my truck that day. The actual repair cost was much, much less than what I thought it was going to be had they done what I was initially asking the estimate for. I truly felt David and the technician were honest and looking out for my interest rather than their bottom line. I picked my truck up that evening and it ran fantastic. It has now been almost one week and the truck is running as good as the day I bought it, something it hasn't done in quite awhile. The good folks at Hill's Auto Repair saved me thousands of dollars since now I no longer have to worry about buying a new truck in this market. Needless to say I am elated, I simply cannot express in words how happy I am that my truck has been properly serviced and is running so great. If you need your car or truck serviced it is worth the trip to Hill's Auto Repair.

Hills was closest to my home when I need needed my vehicle looked at. I decided to vere away from my usual mechanic as I wanted something closer to home, yet didn't want to lose the quality of work. I've had multiple experiences at Hills over the last couple of years and I must say that I wished I had made a change sooner. I can never say pricing is reasonable because keeping up a vehicle isn't always cheap, but Hills brings honestly, integrity, and they stand behind their work. If recommend them to anyone looking for fair treatment and honesty in diagnosing behind issues. Everyone knows a mechanic who will sell you parts that you don't need but Hill's doesn't run their business this way, and in my opinion that's a great business practice. Keep up the good work guys. You're now my staple for auto needs.

I started going to Hill's Auto Repair just after they opened the business. I have not gone to any other automotive shop since that time. I find each of the employees knowledgeable and friendly. All of their work is first class and completed in the time frame they said it would be. I fave full faith and confidence in all of their work. I taught engine repair when I was in the U.S. Army, so I am aware of what problems may exist and what is required to fix them. I have never been told I needed something to be fixed or repaired that I did not really need. All of their advice is sound and on target. I recommend Hill's to anybody and everybody because they can be trusted to do the job right and never advising that a repair or replacement is needed if it really is not.

I've been going to Hill's Auto Repair for any auto repair's after the warranty went out on any of my cars over the year's since they first opened up for business and have always been completely satisfied with the repair's. The work has always been done as quickly as possible and I've never had to return to Hill's to re-fix any work they did on my cars. It's also about the only auto repair shop I trust telling me what's wrong and how much it's going to cost to fix my car, being a female it's easy to be taken advantage of by repair shops, that would never happen at Hills Auto Repair. I have family members that work on cars that I've double checked with at times on what Hills wanted to do to fix my car and they've always agreed with the work and cost at Hill's.
